Jerry T. White for Sheriff

Bio

Jerry came to Lincoln Co. in 1962 where he met his wife, Judy (Richardson) White.  Together they raised their five sons who have all followed in their parents’ foot steps by choosing careers in civil service.

Jerry began his law enforcement career here in Lincoln Co. where he was a police officer in Chandler, Stroud, Davenport, and a Lincoln Co. Deputy before joining the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).  Jerry retired from the OHP after 28 years of service, amassing a total of 36 years of law enforcement experience.

Becoming the next sheriff of Lincoln County presents the opportunity for Jerry to continue giving back to the community in the best way he knows how – by protecting the communities in which his family and friends call home.  The position of sheriff is more than just another job for Jerry. It’s a leadership role in the community, a role that requires integrity and dedication to the community.  Jerry’s leadership style is simple – he leads by example.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department needs leadership – leadership from someone with strong ties to the community, from someone with the experience to get the job done right, and from someone who will restore the integrity to this community leadership position. That someone is Jerry T. White.
